Birchlands, London
This 1930s terraced home was redesigned for a young family, with a brief that called for light, colour and a sense of energy—balanced with comfort, practicality and plenty of storage for everyday life.
The ground floor and living spaces were carefully considered to give each room a clear role, supporting family routines while allowing the house to feel open, sociable and connected. A confident palette runs throughout, bringing warmth and personality, while pale backdrops and natural materials keep the spaces calm and liveable.
Bespoke carpentry is integral to the scheme. Joinery is used to provide generous, well-organised storage and to shape the spaces themselves, with curved forms and thoughtful detailing adding softness and flow. Storage is designed to work hard for family life, while remaining visually calm and well integrated.

The result is a home that feels purposeful and uplifting—full of colour, character and confidence, yet grounded in comfort and designed to support the realities of everyday family living.
