Lower Northdown, Margate
Comprehensive redesign of a large Edwardian family home in Margate, reimagined with European creative flair. Mid-century design plays alongside classic contemporary pieces, rich colours span a considered palette, and every room feels happy, layered and interesting.
The project involved significant structural work—layout revisions across multiple floors, a ground floor extension, and the repositioning of both the kitchen and family bathroom—creating a home that functions as well as it looks.

The kitchen and dining space is open and sociable, with bespoke lighting and a palette that brings warmth and personality to the heart of the home. Throughout the ground floor, spaces flow naturally from one to the next, each with its own character while remaining part of a cohesive whole.
Upstairs, the principal bedroom is dressed in expressive wallpaper and curated furniture, creating a retreat that feels deliberate and personal. Three bathrooms—a family bathroom, a second shower room and an ensuite—are each fully tiled and individually resolved, with suite selection and layout considered in detail. A study and a landing complete the scheme, the latter treated as a space in its own right rather than an afterthought.
