Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire
An extensive remodel and extension of a 1980’s home in leafy surroundings, reimagined for a young creative family. A light, bright and contemporary aesthetic, with poppy and fun accents that are illuminated by heaps of natural light and an abundance of space.
The extension opened up the rear of the house to create a generous open-plan kitchen, dining and living space — the heart of the home. Natural timber cabinetry and a bold geometric tiled floor anchor the space, while cane furniture, oversized pendant lighting and carefully chosen artwork bring warmth and personality without weight.

The living area flows seamlessly from the kitchen, with the patterned floor running throughout to give the open plan a sense of continuity and rhythm. Soft grey sofas and a considered mix of textures balance the energy of the pattern, creating a space that feels lively but genuinely comfortable.
Upstairs, the principal bedroom continues the calm, contemporary feel—warm timber panelling, considered lighting and bespoke storage create a restful retreat. The ensuite and family bathroom are fully tiled, with an arched mirror and soft green palette giving each a quietly boutique feel.
A bespoke child’s bedroom completes the scheme, with built-in shelving and storage detailed with a playful arched motif—practical for family life, but designed with the same care and intention as the rest of the house.
